Mary Bridget Elizabeth Ann is Mr. Grant's tomboyish second grade niece. A sturdy, athletic girl, Bridget is a ball of explosive energy prone to bouts of clumsiness, as growing girls often are. She has an amazingly short attention span, and is constantly in trouble at school. That's okay by her, as long as she can kick butt on the soccer field. A human wrecking ball on the playground, Bridget enjoys any sport in which she can pummel her opponent and knock things over. When her uncle sets off around the world to find his runaway robots, Bridget is left home alone, kept company only by an exasperated piano teacher named Ms. Pepper and her inquisitive guinea pig, Jake.
